Nearly everyone at Chop'd has worked their way from the bottom up.

Often very fast. One person from KP to Head Chef in 18 months. Another from saladista to Store Manager in 6 months. Even our Operations Director started their first day washing up at the sink.

We recruit on attitude and talent, not knowledge or experience.

We can teach you what you don't know. (We can't teach character or ambition.)

You will be fairly paid for a fair day's work. (Very few of us work nights, and when we do, not late.)

All our team members earn around 25% over the market rate.

We work reasonable hours and have social and personal lives.

You will be trained and developed at the speed that is right for you. Which might be a bit faster than you think you are ready for.

But we will support you all the way, and listen to you regularly and formally.

We are all human. We all make mistakes. We always do our best to learn from our mistakes and put them as right as we can. We will do the same for you when you make mistakes.

We can offer you a variety of roles to start with here, depending on your ability and interests, including:-

Batcher
Saladista
Cashier

You will need to be hard-working, friendly, speak decent English and qualify to work in the UK.

Depending on your role, it certainly helps to like - if not love - food, or people, or both!

Previous kitchen or café experience can help, but is not a requirement. We select on the basis of who you are, not what you know.
